Insomnia and Giant Lego Men

...4.41AM AARRGHH!!!...

Oh to be asleep at this moment would be DIVINE.
(even better if Prince Charming was waiting to wake me with a kiss after I'd slept for eight hours)

Unfortunately I suffer from insomnia, and tonight just happens to be one of the worse nights.

I hate lying in bed at night waiting for that blissful moment of sleep to arrive, all cozy and warm, my body relaxed, eyes closed, hearing the clock TICK TOCK waiting and waiting as the minute hands get closer and closer to sunrise, driving down the road towards sleep waiting for my exit.....

Sh*t! I missed the exit!

Listening to my resident mouse scurrying around looking for something I might have accidentally left him, or eating Nutella out of my dodgy mouse traps that wont snap shut.

Just waiting for that little switch in my head to turn off, a bit like the light in the fridge.

But alas the switch is stuck on tonight.

Like sands through the hour glass, so is this night of my life....

So instead of counting how many twitter pages, and other random pages I'm aimlessly surfing, I decided to make up for the last 2 weeks of flying time by blogging.

And whilst randomly surfing I found out that......

GIANT LEGO MEN 

are invading....

The first one washed up on Zandvoort Beach in Holland in August 2007. (Sorry I cant translate the video or find one in English but for a story click here)

The next that washed up on Brighton Beach, UK in October 2008.

The most recent one washed up last week at Siesta Key beach, Florida, USA.

There is a message written on the front of  his shirts "No real than you are" and on the back is written Ego Leonard.

But are the friends you make and really lose precisely not identity.
Is it not better to look at all beautiful things in our own world, rather than an ideal situation to realize that other virtual world.

With a new look to our own world view. The beautiful elements see, admire and adore.

What to do with my giant Lego man...... Hire him out to cut down trees, stand him at the mailbox when google street view is cruisng past, attach wheels to his feet so I can cruise round town and pretend he's my boyfriend  take him shopping....

I wonder when and where the next Giant Lego man is going to appear?
